The International Mathematical Talent Search (IMTS) was an extension of the USA Mathematical Talent Search (USAMTS), a year-round problem-solving program in mathematics. It was initiated in 1991 in the Mathematics and Informatics Quarterly (M&IQ), and was discontinued 10 years later, in 2001. During its 10 years of operation, each round of the IMTS featured 5 challenging problems for students at the secondary level; these problems are featured below as a service of the Canadian Mathematical Society. |
